Thanks for the feedback, it's helpful to think about.  My hope is the new 
BBS menu shell will expand to bridge the classic BBS gap, but in the end 
I tend to lean towards the telnet service being the 'traditional' interface 
for the system.

Yes I plan to add translation support.  It's been on my mind recently.
