I think I only remember the names as they were pirate BBS's run by kids my age, with exception to "The Nunnery." BBSes back then had a distinct "dark and or rebellious" vibe and theme associate with them (often,) and or were super fun and maze like such as Reggae Land.

Those were the days for sure, where creativity thrived. Today there are many "stock" systems mostly used for person ease / convenience of reading FTN's. Nothing wrong with that either .. but when BBSes work to bring the creativity and or "old vibe" back .. I find those to be most special and worth calling. There are many C-Net and other Commodore / Amiga BBSes open today that are definitely worth a peek!
