They try to cover it up because of what will happen if it is found out XD. There is also a lot of "passive " correction, though. A couple of years ago they had a crisis performing aesthetic surgery in another clinic in town. The patient was going into a stop and when they went to grab the emergency materials from the box (which is supposed to be always stocked with the basics, I think that by law) they found it empty. They managed to get the patient out of the crisis anyway and nobody in the team mentioned it in public... ...but the doctors who were considered "high reputation" said they were never going to work for that hospital ever again. I am not sure but I think the unit is closed today. A couple of years ago a sports Doctor who was a de-facto trainee from a very experienced and reputable Doctor ignored the instructions of the latter because he believed he was better than anybody else and managed to screw the knee of a nation-class soccer player. I think the insurance paid the patient a hefty compensation in order to not make noise about it but the Doctor was kicked out silently and as far as I know he no longer has a job in town. The problem is that in the world of socialized healthcare, job positions tend to be armored and kicking out burdersome servants is hard and expensive unless you have a ton of evidence. Meanwhile private healtchare works via contractors you can get rid off very easily or who can walk away if their reputations are at stake. Every now and then you get rumors of a social unit that screwed up or outright killed somebody but I rarely hear of the people involved being repositioned at the very least. Rumors being rumors, you can bet lots of them arrive magnified or distorted, but it does not inspire much confidence if you ask me. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken n --- gSynchronetn Palantir BBS * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL ----------------------------------------------------------- [Voltar]
