In the videos of his I've seen, at least, I felt like he gave reasons why he likes living in the UK and why he feels like it's not done as well in the US. I don't think he expressed any hate toward the US or was disrespectful toward the US. It's okay to have such opinions, I can see why someone would think that way, and I don't feel like that is trashing the US. But it's been a little bit since I watched one of those videos of his, so I'm probably not remembering everything he has said. For instance, he has talked about how walkable a lot of the cities are in the UK - They often build good walking paths along roads there, making it easy to walk and ride a bicycle along the roads; on the other hand, while growing up in the US, he said he walked to school for a little while and there were sections of the road (in the US) that didn't even have a sidewalk or walkway, making it feel a bit dangerous to walk that route to school. I don't think that kind of thing is trashing the US; it's just stating an opinion.
