Some grocery prices are getting crazy high. I'm surprised they're selling soda 12-packs for that much. Kroger owns some grocery stores in my area (which were formerly local chains) and that sounds a bit right - And they're one of the more expensive grocery stores for some things. They also have their own store-brand sodas which tend to be a lot cheaper (I bought a 12-pack of Diet Dr. K from them for $4.50 not too long ago, but the price may have gone up since then). If I buy soda, I've been buying house brand lately since it tends to be significantly less expensive (what name-brand soda used to cost). Sometimes I'll buy some soda from Costco because I think it's fairly good for the price. Soda isn't a basic necessity, and I find it hard to justify spending $10 for a 12-pack of soda..
