I recently decided to use Linux as my main OS on my main PC at home. I've been using it for a bit over a month now, and I can't say I miss Windows. I've even been able to use some of my favorite Windows software on Linux (until I find Linux-native alternatives that I like); it seems that Windows support with Wine & such keeps getting better. Even one of my favorite PC games, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, runs very well in Linux with Proton (and installed from Steam). And similarly to Chromebook, I can avoid paying for a Windows license next time I build a new PC for myself.
