Ctrl-Q and Ctrl-S are potentially problematic because Ctrl-Q is the XON ASCII control code and Ctrl-S is XOFF. It won't be a problem in most Telnet or other TCP scenarios, but anything going over a serial link that might have "software flow control" enabled might eat those characters.
