i don't think you're taking into account how convoluded things have become.
I looked at the text.ini format and i see it has some redeeming features but 
it's not something i'd like to use as a sysop.

there is a place if you make a place.

it's your baby though, do what you want to do. there's not a lot of people 
who speak their mind about synchronet so i hope you take my comments under 
consideration.

I'm pretty much retired as a sysop anyways. there's no users.  i'm just 
mentioning these things because i've helped a few people recently and 
they've been confused about synchronet.
