Hi amibink, I used it for a while, but it's an unsupported program. In your
case, the "socket function not implemented" error is probably due to
ixemul.library and ixnet.library. Do you have them in your LIBS folder?

Regarding the router, if you're acting as the server, then yes. If you have a
firewall, whether you're the server or the client, you must grant it access.

Even if you're using DHCP, if it's for your home, you can always assign it a
static IP address.

Otherwise, I suggest using another version:
