      Title: David's Easy Black Bean Burgers
 Categories: Burgers, Vegetarian
      Yield: 4 Burgers
 
      1    Can black beans; drained
      1    Egg or substitute
           Panko or other bread crumbs
      1 tb Canola or vegetable oil
           Salt, pepper, and chiles;
           - to taste
 
  Mix all the ingredients together except for the bread crumbs. Mash
  with a hand masher until most of the beans are a paste. It's okay
  still to have some whole beans in the patties. Stir in bread crumbs
  until the mixture is thick enough to hold together. Divide into 4
  balls, then flatten into patties.
  
  Sear in a pan to help them hold together, then fry, bake, or grill as
  you wish. Note that they'll be more crumbly with the vegan "egg".
