      Title: Fresh Tomato Pizza With Basil Pesto

           Traditional Pizza Dough
    1/2 c  Basil pesto
      1 tb Olive oil
      4    Ripe plum tomatoes;
           - peeled, seeded, diced
           Salt
           Black pepper; freshly ground
 
  If fresh, ripe tomatoes are out of season, use canned tomatoes, or
  even a canned pizza sauce. If you're in the mood for a more
  traditional pizza, sprinkle with some cheese.
  
  Preheat the oven to 450?F. Punch the dough down. On a lightly
  floured work surface, roll out or stretch the dough into a circle
  about 1/4" thick. Lightly oil a pizza pan or baking sheet and place
  the dough on it, stretching it to fit. Bake on the bottom oven rack
  for 8 minutes.
  
  In a medium-sized bowl, combine the pesto and olive oil, stirring to
  blend. Add the tomatoes and salt & pepper to taste. Toss gently to
  combine.
  
  Remove the crust from the oven and top with the tomato & pesto
  mixture, spreading it to within 1/2" of the edge. Bake until the
  crust is golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
