MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Mom's Banana Nut Bread
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 2 Loaves

      2 c  Flour
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Baking soda
      1 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Butter
      1 c  Sugar
      2    Eggs
      1 c  Ripe bananas; mashed
    1/2 c  Nuts; chopped

  Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  Cream butter with sugar. Blend in two eggs. Beat well. Add mashed
  bananas. Mix with the dry ingredients.

  Fold in chopped nuts and pour batter into two greased baking bread
  pans. Push the batter into the corners, having the center slightly
  hollow. Bake at 350?F for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool well before slicing.
