At least not anymore, considering they've been owned by two or more other parent companies in the time that's passed, and employees naturally just move on or retire. If I had to guess, William Hughes is probably MSE/SoundTube's web guy, and he probably just inherited access to all their legacy web stuff when he was contracted by them. Also guessing they can't see the sense, or find it in their budget, to modernize the GamePort site for the 5-10 people every year who ask for registrations. So they just leave it as it is, not knowing what to do with it.. But I'm just sitting here speculating while procrastinating at work. Whatever you think of William, he may still know something about GamePort's history or at least the truth about how he came to be involved with them.
