Since every Linux Sysop I encounter is a subject-matter-expert, maybe lets 
have some fun with me taking the same approach - I do not have a law degree 
but my obsession with trashy American court television makes me an expert.

What part of his statement was factually incorrect or threatening?

The subject of Fido lawsuits hardly comes up unless someone "wants" it to come
