I guess I thought you'd been around FidoNet longer than you have.  That 
was the first thing that I thought of when I read the question, and 
thought anybody/everybody would have done the same.  Mea culpa.

That's fairly irrelevant, as it is still the "master document" of 
FidoNet, whether one likes it, or believes in it, ... or not.
