BBS: TELESC.NET.BR Assunto: htick "issue" De: Mike Powell Data: Tue, 28 Apr 2026 10:26:25 -0500 ----------------------------------------------------------- > As far as I've seen, if "something.zip" is in the fileecho, and a new > "something.zip" arrives via binkd with "REPLACES SOMETHING.ZIP" and htick > processes it, it would replace the uppercase version (if there is one) in that > directory. If there is no uppercase file named that in there, it will simply > ignore the REPLACES command since there is nothing to do, and just overwrite > the original "something.zip", without error. This is where my confusion is. REPLACES is supposed to tell it to replace the file that matches the string it gives. Without it, other tic processers *won't* overwrite any files, and they won't overwrite any that don't match the REPLACES string if it is present. Sounds like with htick, the default behavior is to overwrite same-named files, even when there is no REPLACES or the REPLACES doesn't match? That does take care of it. * SLMR 2.1a * Beware programmers carrying screwdrivers. --- SBBSecho 3.28-Linux * Origin: Capitol City Online (1:2320/107) ----------------------------------------------------------- [Voltar]
