You appear to be missing the point that
voters have already been ID long before
the vote and they are checked against
an existing list of valid voters. So
you're not adding anything but a 
potential inconvenience, it would seem.


And no, the SAVE act is about makin it
as inconvenient in the short term as
possible for people to register to vote
in the upcoming elections, to preserve
power. It is also about consolidating
the power to control elections with the
federal government, rather than the
states. A cursory reading of the
proposed law would demonstrate that to
you. I presume you can read, so I
advise you look for yourself and don't
take my or you local politician's word
for it.

And if you doubt that, I point also to
Trump's newest executive order
illegally trying to stop mail-in
voting. He's not hiding what his intent
is, I don't know why MAGA won't just
admit it when he yells it from every
rooftop daily.
