I cannot change what policies were 100 years ago. 100 years ago families were slightly different that today... Men worked out of the house, women ran the house and the family. Today you you need 2 people working, if you want. MLK, fought foe EQUAL rights, not special rights. My arguments are similar. I think man or woman, light or dark skin, y'all should have the same opportunities. Hard work with great ideas and you'll prosper. This is an argument of equality. Your argument is Equity... Equity is the E in the DEI phrase. Equality is giving someone, non-deserving, a position because she/they/them had a vagina and that vagina was darker because they/them are darker. Not because they/them went to school and worked at their studies and was accomplish in their field of expertise. No, just because they had a vagina. Other more accomplished people missed out because dark vagina person made it in because of DEI. Equity looks at the outcome of things... Doesn't matter how hard you work, study and come up with great ideas... Dark Vagina person wins. Maybe 100 years ago more women may have risen to the top... maybe... but in 2026 you can study and work hard and be all you want to be... Today you don't need Equity you just need Equality. A female or male, regardless of who applies, gets in based on their merit and skills. I want to see a fully qualified Doctor, regardless of their gender or hair color. You on the other hand would like to see a DEI Doctor who got their job based on their vagina and not their skills. Go to they/them. I just believe in merit. BTW, I was at one time a migrant to the US. I entered legally, filed all the paperwork legally and have NEVER asked the US government for nothing. If I didn't have enough money to eat I did without. I paid my rent/mortgage or any debt before I did things for myself. I was not a burden on the system or other people.
