It had more to do with the fact that she was a light weight political unknown and seen as part of the problem with the whole Biden obviously not being mentally fit to be President, as she basically went along for the ride and stayed in the shadows (Not that she had a choice as if she had done that her party would not have put her on the ticket..). Many feel the Democrats tried to pull a fast one with Biden dropping out of the race and putting her on the ticket. The party should have convinced Biden not to seek re-election in the first place and put someone who was known and could actually run against Trump (Which if they had played their cards smarter would not have been hard to do, but they completely lost credibility during the depate were Biden looked like a drooling halfwit!).
