So the senate did this to themselves, and they have the power to fix it? And Thune has no ambition to fix it? That's a failure.

It sounds better than what we have now. But a filibuster of any sort contradicts democracy.

I never heard of Thune until the 2024 elections. Was he the "minority leader" prior to the 2024 elections? There have been many more outspoken GOP senators who deserve the position more than he does.
