It would be interesting to see where the other GOP senators stand on keeping Thune as majority leader. I'd also be interested in knowing why they chose him in the first place.

Thank you for explaining that. That makes sense; if an overwhelming majority of Senators want something done, the president can't stand in their way. It seems like a good idea until this happens:

So with that being said, there should be no filibuster. Being a political minority means being a loser, and senators fitting that description shouldn't have special accommodations (filibuster.)

That sucks. I was excited with the 2024 and 2025 election results, but deep down I knew not to expect much legislation to happen.
