"You don't think that black voters
have the money for the poll tax?
So they'll be forced to not vote?
How many Black voters do you figure
they have in Oklahoma? If they can't
get a couple dollars than they can
at least work some overtime and
earn the money for the tax, if voting
is important to them"

That's what you sound like, though
you'll refuse to see the parallel. Your
statement is disingenuous. Of course
people who REALLY want to vote will
find a way. But those who WERE going to
vote but now have to jump through hoops
that didn't exist before, will vote
LESS, and that's by malicious design.

Make voting harder, put obstacles in
the way, and eventually you bleed off
voters through sheer inconvenience,
just enough to sway some disctricts
one way or another. We've seen this
game before, and it's grandfather was
outlawed for a reason. This is the same
tactic in a different costume. And
y'all know it too.
