That is why Zelensky wondered aloud what American strategists have been doing for the past four years. A valid question, because it was Iran that supplied Russia with thousands of Shaheed drones. The Ukrainians who are now supposed to assist the Americans are baffled by how the Americans are trying to shoot down the Shaheeds. They literally saw an example where six exorbitantly expensive Patriot missiles were fired at a single Shaheed drone costing only a few tens of thousands of euros. The Patriots cost a million each, and currently only 800 can be manufactured per year. The Americans are using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, and they don't seem to care at all. It is therefore no surprise that they need another 200 billion dollars.
