That's been the case for a while now.  No case relies solely on video evidence.

No matter how good AI gets, there will be a way to show it's fake.

But then there's the other side.  I saw an ad for a "finger ring".  Basically a
flesh colored plastic finger with a ring so you can wear it.  You put it on and
it looks like you have 6 fingers.  Potentially useful for saying "the picture
of me is an AI fake, look it shows I have 6 fingers."

Good.  They are already losing money fast.  Some big penalties will push them
into the bankruptsy they should have been in long ago.
