I'm looking at your laws now. Says that
everyone must be registered beforehand
for your vote to count, that first time
voters MUST ID themselves via photo ID,
utilities or other proof of
citizenship, that voters are checked fo
validity prior to holding the
elections, and samples of polling
stations are audited for accuracy each
federal election. So it looks like ID
ing already happened, but before and
after the vote. 

So really all you'd be doing is saying
"if you aren't directly carrying your
ID today you are unable to vote"
despite the fact that they've already
pre-screened all valid voters in the
district.
