This is actually the correct link for my model:

https://everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_pro/specs/mac-pro-quad-core-2.8-2008-
specs.html

2.8 GHz Q. Core Xeon E5462, from March 2009.
Storage: 320GB HDD

Mac Pro Subfamily: Early 2008
Model Number: A1186
Model ID: MacPro3,1
EMC Numbe: 2180

It is NOT maxed out. It's only at 8GB ECC ram.

The Mac Pro almost makes it the most recent PC that I have! LOL

My T540p Thinkpad is from 2013, but I got that used in 2015 or so. LOL

I don't think I will ever attain a PC with 128GB ram!

From what I'm reading, the Mac Pro should have no issues. But I plan to
operate it in its native manner first, for a while.

I'm thinking of adapting it as my main backup server after I put in some
larger drives.

Yes.. it's a well-maintained site.
